    Mission/Sentry fenders, 30% off

Just got my fenders. They aren’t perfect, one has a jagged seam and the other a small indentation on the top, but from the front they look good. No major damage, but definitely not the quality you’d expect if paying full price. Can’t wait to try them out. Hopefully in a week or so! (pictures...

    Best anchor for sandy bottoms?

Did you need to trim off .5” from each side of the bar, or .5” all together?

Broke down last night - Drive control check engine?

This happened to me a few months ago. Turned out to be a battery issue. The way my ‘16 242x is wired, (according to the dealership that did the service) the Connext screen doesn’t accurately reflect each separate battery (even with parallel switch not on), so I had one battery that was very low...

Thank you this is really helpful, appreciate the pictures and details.

    Best anchor for sandy bottoms?

I’d like to see the anchor locker pix if you take any. I’m not super handy, but if it’s an easy fix I can try it!

    Best anchor for sandy bottoms?

Thanks for the information. I looked back in previous posts and it does seem that a slight modification is needed to fit in the locker, but if the anchor works that well, may be worth it!

    Best anchor for sandy bottoms?

Did that Fortress end up fitting in the anchor locker without a lot of hassle? I’m looking into the Fortress for my 2016 242x. Assuming the locker is the same size as previous years.

    2018's ARE HERE!!!

Totally agree that these new color choices are odd, I'm not into them at all. Yamaha sent out a customer survey a few months ago asking a lot about color preferences. They had even louder color combinations they wanted feedback on. The brightly colored towers will look dated quick!

Review of the all New 2016 Yamaha 242X E-Series Wake Sports jet boat

I will check that over the weekend, thanks! Does make sense.

Review of the all New 2016 Yamaha 242X E-Series Wake Sports jet boat

Yes, the radio never gets a strong signal. My dealership said they have had complaints, no fix for it. Bluetooth and USB music is good, but can't turn up the volume loud enough, especially when playing through Bluetooth.

    Sea Mat snap in maintenance

That was a nice surprise...had to pay for 2 hours of labor :(

    Sea Mat snap in maintenance

Yes, I found out after I got the mats that they needed to be installed by the dealer. They put snaps in the mats to match the snaps already on the boat.

    Sea Mat snap in maintenance

Already have the mats...thought about that but went with the snap in.

    Sea Mat snap in maintenance

Just ordered the Yamaha snap in Sea Mat for my 2016 242x. I know they're standard in the '17. Any tips on cleaning the surface? Recommendations for how often to remove and clean underneath? Trying to avoid a mold situation!
