Thoughts and demo rides of wake / towsports boats: Moomba Max, Axis A22, MB Sports

I would have to disagree. I have rode behind a few v drives and the wave has not been substantially better then my 242x. Short of a natique g25 And a mastercraft x26. Granted I haven't rode behind every boat made. I have rode behind an xstar with surf plates and extra ballast and my wave was...

Thoughts and demo rides of wake / towsports boats: Moomba Max, Axis A22, MB Sports

Hopefully the new hull improves the wave. I rode a 2016 nxt 22 and the wave behind my 242x was better. Maybe they didn't have it diled In? Maybe v drives don't like deep water? They could switch sides faster and didnt have to bolt on a wake booster though. I also run 300 lbs of lead.

To Foil or Not to Foil...

Haven't been here for awhile, but I would say the foil is deff worth it. We foiled the 84 today behind an seafood challenger 1800. I can foil the 3rd wave back on my 242 x with no ballest. I would also second the helmet. The foil hurts like a bitch and it will keep on trucking with no rider.

The Ropeless POWER of the Slingshot COASTER

Crappy weekend here so no surfing, but I found this video from last weekend. Since that season is approaching I thought I would share how good the coaster is at sledding.

The Ropeless POWER of the Slingshot COASTER

I'm using the thrust vector wake with the wakebooster. 350 lbs lead in wet storage compartment. Factory surf side ballast full, ski locker full, 50 percent non surf side. I also had 3 people. Driver 120, copilot seat 135, surf side bench 190.

of the weekend, but the only one I have video of. Now get out that and buy those coasters. Maybe @J-RAD will give me a killer deal on that butter bar if I drum up some more business.

The Ropeless POWER of the Slingshot COASTER

So... unfortunately I have no video to prove it, and I wasn't consistent, but I was able to 360 the 5'3 coaster this weekend behind my 242x. I would definitely recommend this board to anyone. I can ride with my daughter, catch some air, and finally 360'd all on the same board. With that...

Foil Boarding - Loyal to the Foil

@Nakk Whats the learning curve like for kite foiling. I would love to learn, but the mid west isn't great for kiting if you can imagine that. Are you riding the carbon mast? I cant tell from the pics.

Foil Boarding - Loyal to the Foil

I'm riding the slingshot coaster 5'3" Its the yamaha version that comes with the wake booster. Otherwise I would have bought from @J-RAD. This is only the 2nd time I've been surfing this year. I have been foiling, but had some issues with the foil and my wake booster just happend to show up the...

Foil Boarding - Loyal to the Foil

Due to some foil issues I wasn't able to get out this weekend. However I would like to say J-Rad was quick to get me in touch with the right people at sling shot. I would also like to report that sling shot tech and warranty were second to none taking care of my issues. Super fast and...

Foil Boarding - Loyal to the Foil

I was on the infinity 84 with the small rear wing. I am going to try the larger rear wing next weekend if i can get out. There is a ton of power in that second wave its just kind of hard to see the wave when your out there. That was my first successful ride. My daughter got side tracked and...

Foil Boarding - Loyal to the Foil

After the lake being closed due to high water for the last 5 weeks, and really crappy weather I was finally able to get the boat out. In the process I broke my big toe and my boat lift motor quit working. SO, I spent the rest of the weekend nursing my toe and working on the boatlift/ dock. Last...

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

Get yourself one of those foily board thingers that at @J-RAD sells and you wont need any ballast to surf.

Foil Boarding - Loyal to the Foil

I would say it took 15 to 20 hrs of ridding before i could go rope less. Its almost as much fun ridding with a rope though. You can carve all over back and forth across the wake. I was able to do a couple jumps, the landings are intimidating with the foil though.
