The official "What did you do to your jet boat today" thread.

Finally got around to installing the SeaDek I got in the @JetBoatPilot group buy. Also might as well show the Impact graphics designed and installed by the great folks over at @JetBoatPilot a few months back.

    Port engine won't start

Thanks for the tip. I tried it out but unfortunately the codes remain and the engine will not start. Off to the repair shop I guess to see if they can clear the codes and figure it out. Everything was running fine last time I had it out.

    Port engine won't start

@HELP Also posted in the Chaparral forum...hoping to take the boat out today but my port engine will crank but not fire and I am getting the 4 codes (P0201, P0202, P0203, P1030). I accidentally left the battery switch on after our last trip weeks ago. So it is safe to say the batteries were...

Chaparral Vortex 243 (2015) - posting codes every other start (p0201,p0202,p0203,p1030)

@HELP Thread revival...hoping to take the boat out today but my port engine will crank but not fire and I am getting the same 4 codes (P0201, P0202, P0203, P1030). I accidentally left the battery switch on after our last trip weeks ago. So it is safe to say the batteries were probably drained...

    Inflatable towable recommendation

Looking to get another towable toy for the kids (11 & 8). We have a basic tube that you lay on, but they don't seem to like that much. The sit-on style like the Super Mable seems popular. Anyone try the Chariot Warbird? Any other recommendations?

    Electrical question

Thanks for the response. So no dedicated start and house batteries and each battery powers different things. Even though each battery starts its corresponding engine, I assume both batteries need to be connected because neither engine would even turn over with a single battery connected. I...

    Electrical question

I am not the smartest when it comes to wiring diagrams and electrical systems, so I am hoping someone might be able to assist. This also ties into another question here in the Chaparral forums inquiring about start and house batteries. I am just trying to get a better understanding of the...

    Battery Question

Thread revival...I need to replace my batteries and am wondering there is a benefit to upgrade/change the style of batteries. I have the same battery switch (Off, On, Combine) and DVSR mentioned above. Do we have a start and house battery or do they both get used equally? I can't find much...

    Battery Replacement

I think it is about that time. My factory batteries (Interstate 24M-XHD) are ~6 years old, and I noticed the starboard motor was a little weak to start and also got a "Starboard Low Voltage" warning yesterday. Additionally, it does not seem to fully charge. I had in on the smart charger all...

One picture of your last outing.

First trip of the season…FINALLY! Gulf side at Shell Island. No picture but had a manatee swim right off our stern as it made it’s way down the coastline.

    Proper flushing procedure?

I agree. I tried running it up one time, but it sounded bad and I was not comfortable with it. I will maybe give the second quick startup a try to see if I get anymore water out. I don't have pictures, but the tech that did the repairs thinks it may have started between the hose and exterior...

    Proper flushing procedure?

I recently had to replace the exhaust manifold on one of my engines due to a water outlet nipple being completely corroded and falling off. I do use it in saltwater, but I am the original owner of the boat and flushed the exhaust after every outing. I am beginning to wonder if my flushing...

Not sure if they are familiar with your setup, but All Pro Waterpsorts on Transmitter Rd may be worth a call. https://allpropwcrepair.com/

    2015 VR243

Anyone have any suggestions on removing this O2 sensor that is corroded/stuck in place? I have the proper wrench and replacement sensor but I cannot get that thing to budge.

    Show us what you see!!!

Drive by / fly over all the time but have yet to make it out there with my boat. One of these days I will take a trip over via the ICW.

Seriously?!? Because it would make too much sense to use the actual state abbreviation?

    Ski pylon?

I am not too impressed with the low tow point on my non-tower boat. I figured putting a tower on will come at a high cost. Has anyone mounted a ski pylon or higher towpoint on these Chap boats?
