    SX192 Overtemp Alarm

The red one goes to the fresh water flush. The black single line is coming from the jet pump then T's to the motor and IC (before i ran a dedicated line) I actually had two kinks but I just zoomed in on the pic and you can only see the red one (oops) And yes this is accessible if you remove the...

    SX192 Overtemp Alarm

I know this is an old thread but still thought I would post to help future jetboaters. I had a similar issue when I first bought my boat. Overtemp would come and go. Never would do it when I returned it to the dealer. Below is what I ended up finding when installing my IC. The way the hoses...

Has anyone come up with a way to prevent stepping on the rear seat?

I hated stepping on rear seat as well! Been holding up for the past year. For those contemplating whether or not to buy, IMO you can save some $$ by not buying the center cushion. For me, I rarely use it

    SX 192 Mods

@haknslash I went with the Riva replacement filter. Initially i achieved the same mph as you, then I started playing around with the water flow. After I did tbe dedicated water line, I felt maybe too much water was going to the IC (monitoring outlet flow) so I installed a valve so I could adjust...

    SX 192 Mods

50+ (gps) all summer in this lovely hot SC weather with 4 people and gear (2 are kids) prior to the mod i could do around 48 leaving tbe ramp but as soon as the heat soak set it, it would drop to 40mph max. I've also done the ribbon delete and aftermarket air filter so far.

    SX 192 Mods

Wow! Nice to see this thread is still going strong! As everyone is saying, an aftermarket IC makes a huge difference! Just an update on my project. Its been a year and my Fizzle IC is still going strong. Definitely a more expensive route but at the time SVHO ICs were kinda hard to find

    SX 192 Mods

I can't comment much on the svho but as you have probably read, an ic upgrade definitely helps. Mine has completely eliminated my heat soak issue. Latest test was with 7 on board, 100 temp, 90 water and boat did 48 all day long. Only dropped about 2 or so mph with the extra 3 people. Please post...

    AR190 Cleats

Agreed. Some also us a small stone, file or sandpaper to chamfer the holes. Supposedly reduces the likelihood of spider cracks in the gel coat

    Water in ski locker

Possibly drain it and put the plug back in? Mine stays covered and all the "internal" plugs stay in, unless i am cleaning the boat and have never had water in there, even stuck on the lake in a sc down pour. Plug in and see what ya get.

I do see a lot of variability on the rpm side. I don't have any other tachometer than the stock one but today it was about a needle thickness from 8000. Didn't think to switch the display

    SX 192 Mods

My previous best was right at 49 and now that I think about it, my kids were in the bow. This time, no kids and all adults were in the rear. But I think anything near 50 is great! Far cry from the heat soaked 40mph I was getting last summer!

    SX 192 Mods

Air temperature was right at 90 today. So the engine outlet is hotter than the IC outlet, a lot. IC outlet is actually about the same as the lake. I got an adjustable orifice (flow control) coming so I can play around with the flows. Prior to the dedicated water line and strainer, water outlet...
