    Purchase of a 2015 242 Limited S

I couldn’t agree more! That’s why I’m really hoping to get in touch with the current owner. I know how hard I worked keeping my boat clean in fresh water and also know how much harder I would have worked in salt water.

    Purchase of a 2015 242 Limited S

I have asked for pics of the pumps and the engines. They are going to cut a door into the shrink wrap so they can get the engine pics. One of my first questions was what the engines looked like. I love these boats but if it wasn’t maintained well in a salt environment it really could be...

    Purchase of a 2015 242 Limited S

So I did ask the broker if he could get me in touch with owner so that I could ask him specifically about what his routine was. He is going to get me his contact info. They are also providing me with all the service records to include the most recent service when it was taken in. Really the only...

    Purchase of a 2015 242 Limited S

Ok guys and gals, we are looking at buying a 2015 242. The price is 48800. It has the galvanized trailer and 114 hrs. Photos of the boat appear great. Our main concern is that it has been all salt water use. Boat has always been on the lift but when I asked the broker the owners procedure for...

    Riverine Patrol Boat (RPB)

That’s wicked cool! What a great time I had down there. So many stories from training down there. Boats run waaayyy ashore or up trees. I’m sure you as cadre have way more than I do.

    Riverine Patrol Boat (RPB)

No kidding. That is cool as hell. I still tell people about the time we spent down there learning to drive those boats. I took the coxswain class and the Patrol boat leader class down there.

    Riverine Patrol Boat (RPB)

Those boats are an absolute blast to drive. I spent six months on Lake Haditha in 2007. Split time at the damn and then a COP in Rawah. I would kill to have those pumps and buckets on my boat now. Great photos. Thanks for your service devil.

    Coronavirus

@Dixie Highway i agree and going down the rabbit hole has led me to other articles about China finding cases as far back as November. And still unable to find a true patient zero. Again I read it all with a grain of salt and just try to be open to listening to all options out there. And stay in...

    Coronavirus

So I have been reading this thread daily and most days many times. Up here in Maine we are at just over 100 confirmed cases and the most are in the county I live in. Our schools have been closed until after April vacation and the rumor is they will be shut down for the rest of the school year...

What negative comments have prop boaters made about your jet boat

One of my boating buddies who owns a thirty foot Baja often refers to my boat as a vacuum cleaner. He says it in good fun though and loves our boat. And he never turns us down when we offer to take him out while he’s having his worked on because of all the upkeep involved!
