    Bilge filled with water, pump submerged.

    I believe - the batteries being off, kills all power, including the bilge pump. Not sure about your model, but that’s the way it works on my model and year.

    You can them off with Goo-Gone and a hair dryer. WD40 works on the glue too.

    My kids started off on a big Hyperlite Landlock. It’s big with a lot of water surface. We don’t use it anymore, but always bring it out if a newbie wants to try it.
