Consider the drive to Somerville or plan to be out very early (and put away no later than 1:00) on weekends.

Need a good repair shop around Houston

Unfortunately no. I had to use Texas marine for my engine swap because it was good will by corporate. I haven’t had any other shop work on my boat. I did have an automechanic I trust double check some work, but I don’t think he would be interested in significant marine work.

    Broken Captains Chair

I can't speak to the 2020 color scheme, but I'm happy with how the one I bought matches my 2013

    Broken Captains Chair

I did white/charcoal in the Seamander chair. So far so good. If I were to do it all the way, I would have put in a taller pedestal also, but back to the reason why I replaced it...this one is so much sturdier than the Yamaha original...

    Broken Captains Chair

Maybe, but I went for a replacement and it’s working much better.

    Broken Captains Chair

for me, it was really difficult to get the plastic lined back up and held in position while I tried any type of repair. If you can get it lined up, it might work, but I wouldn't hold out much hope.

There's a new float plane based on Conroe near the 1097 bridge. Suspect we'll see it more often.

What’s up with your nickname (screen name)??

Another pilot here. Wilco is shorthand for will comply when speaking on the radio. Unfortunately with 4 kids, I don’t fly much anymore, but that’s why I have a boat! Boating is actually cheaper than some other hobbies!

We may have a snow cone boat on Conroe...I've seen a tiki hut boat hanging out near just east of your launch area...

    Interested in AR190, need info

@2kwik4u absolutely a 190 has enough power to get a slalom skiier up. You might stay in the water a little longer than you prefer, but it can get me up! Every other boat toy it has had no issue getting anyone out of the water in a reasonable amount of time.

    Interested in AR190, need info

If they will allow, I would recommend putting a skiier in the water for the test drive. When I first bought my 2013 AR190, it ran fine until I tried to pull up a skiier. Turns out my impeller was damaged just enough to prevent pulling up a skiier, but not enough to prevent running around...

Intermittent loss of rpm starboard engine

I wasn't losing 2-3k rpm, but there were a lot of good suggestions offered when I posted something similar recently. https://jetboaters.net/threads/engine-missing.26657/ Final outcome was dielectric grease on all the electrical fittings and removing a bit of oil are my most likely solutions, but...

    Engine missing

To close the thread...did a water test today before troubleshooting more things. Boat ran amazing. I hit 44 mph on the speedometer. Best guess: - loose connection that was fixed when applying the dielectric grease - oil slightly overfilled (I removed a little bit before taking it out since we...
