    2008 ar230 25hrs, couple speed/rpm questions

Thanks, that is my plan this week. Oil and filter change on each engine, and ohm test the fuel injectors, just to make sure they are within spec. And address that harness connection to make sure it is solid.

    2008 ar230 25hrs, couple speed/rpm questions

Thanks. I also am up to 36 hours on the engines. When I first read the hours with YDS at 25hrs, I only looked at the hours. This time, I looked at previous alarms, and at 19 hrs each engine had overheat alarms, and the starboard engine in question had the TPS sensor alarm... so I think you are...

Ok I fixed the TPS, it was the big harness that is behind and below the airfilter box. I pulled it apart and reconnected it, and my TPS readings bent back to normal in YDS. Hope to get back on the lake tomorrow.

starboard engine wouldnt start after a quick trip around the lake saturday. Cranks but won't fire. So limped it back to dock on one engine. Pulled the spark plugs out to make sure there was no water in the engine from operating on one engine. Seemed dry. Checked all lanyards. Oil is on full...

One engine running 4k rpms lower

Is there a good way to get to the fuel injector contacts to test resistance, without taking apart the fuel rail and removing the rest of the air box? I was able to disconnect the harness from the injector in cylinder 1, but the rest look too cluttered. And, I can't get my leads down to test the...

I installed my 30 degree rod holder today, still debating the underwater lights. Here's pics of the rod holder installed for the magma grill. The fiberglass was real thick on this corner. It also had wood sandwiched between fiberglass... So I fiberglass resined the edges of my hole cut, and...

Pictures of your grilling setup on boat

Installed my rod holder today while I had everything open due to a stock scupper replacement with Atwood stainless steel. Kuuma propane 160 with articulating mount and 30 degree rod holder. Damm the fiberglass is thick in this Corner of the swim deck. Was kinda suprized to find wood sandwiched...

Yep, good tip. Got the scupper installed... To install the underwater lights or not....? I really don't want to drill into my boat! I have four lights, plus the drain plug light. I was thinking install three of the four light kit and keep one as a spare... Plus the drain plug light.

Update: replacing the scupper valve this evening. Mine was cracked right in front of the rubber flapper all the way around, and when I was loosening the ss strap inside the hull, it let go. I think just a little bit of factory silicone was holding it in place. Might install my rod holder for my...

Yes, bearings are good. I pulled each cone off and wiped out the stock grease and put new grease in. I put new moly on the splines too. I think the pumps turn smoothly, they sound good. I could spin the shafts with my hand with ease before I reinstalled them. I will put new spark plugs in and...

Hi! I tested wide-open throttle on Sunday, and the port engine does hit 10k. The starboard engine only hits 9.2 K. It was the port engine that had the dinged up impeller to so I am kind of confused. But both engines are still over filled with oil, so I am hoping when I get them at the right...

WOW! I just read the threads about the plastic scupper cracking. I'll order the attwood SS one now, and take some gorilla tape to the lake this weekend. If the bilge starts pumping like crazy I'll jump in and seal up the scupper!

I replaced the starboard reverse cable yesterday morning. Went pretty fast. My original port cable still had enough thread showing where it snapped, so I was able to re-use it but without a locking nut on the back; then opened up the control end and gave it some more slack. The gates are perfect...

Update; been super busy and crummy weather past couple weekends, so still haven't taken the boat back out to the water. Working in my driveway, I was able to dial in the steering even better so both jets are exactly identical when you measure each jet from the transom plate to the bolt that...

    2008 ar230 25hrs, couple speed/rpm questions

Hi, No that was at the rpm's and speed in the picture. I didn't push the engines past 8500rpm this trip. I wanted to get my steering and fwd/rev gates dialed in, and sync the throttles, and the oil levels, before I push it to the max.

Hi, I have to read how the depth guage works. The transducer and wiring looks good on the bottom/back of boat, but no... I was able to get it read once maybe 20 or 40'... can't remember. Everywhere else it didn't work. How deep can it read? Maybe I was too deep. I'm in sonora, real close to...
