This is really a good community. I think it is particularly interesting the number of people who hang around even after selling their boat or moving to a different type.
Anyone have any idea how many jets (fiberglass....not the crazy river jets) are being produced a year in the US? I'd guess 1,000 Yamahas and 500 of the other brands combined, but I don't have much to base that on. I Googled and found out that Yamaha Jet Boat has an estimated $55M in sales per year and figured that the average boat probably goes for $55K. The other 500 was just a feeling.
10k registered members! WOOT......and many many more that don't register but read the posts!
Regarding jet boat sales...this data suggests ~3500 jet boats sold per year (as of 2014....I expect that number has been creeping back up and is probably 4-5k now???)
Seems like an appropriate point in time to again thank our awesome @Administrative folks. They provided not only a great infrastructure and rules, but set the tone daily. And they do it all for free. Amazing.

(added a link to @DBamaC 's directions above on how to add your location to the map...just enter a location on that page...super simple. You can even add a zipcode to focus it better if your city is big)
