Hey guys and thanks for taking the time to read this. I have a 2005 Seadoo Challenger with the supercharged Rotax engine, and the vessel is still on its original impeller and wear ring. They are flat wore out. I removed the pump from the boat, removed the impeller, and am now stuck on getting the original wear ring to come out. This wear ring appears to be stainless steel, not delrin. I have banged, beat on it, and tried about anything I can think of short of causing damage, and this ring won't budge. I put the assembly in the freezer for several hours, went back out to the shop and tried to get it to move with an air chisel on the outer lip. Wont move. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
