I have a 2014 242 LTD S, bought new and serviced annually. It sits at our saltwater dock during summer months. Bottom and jets are painted with anti-fouling paint.
This year. both pumps will cavitate under hard acceleration. If you reduce throttle, pump will catch-up, then you can further accelerate.

Looking for advice. Should I look at impeller clearance? Intake grate obstructions or salt water growth in jets?

Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks

Chris

Do you just having "slipping" or do you you also have noise/vibration to go along with it?

No noise or vibration, just slipping. RPM maxes out without acceleration until you lower throttle and then re-apply slowly.

Just took boat out of water for year and notice some mild growth on intake grate. ?? maybe??

Don't want to just spend money for no reason.
