Just bought the boat with 29 hours on it. It runs ok as it’s been sitting up for a while and I’m going through plugs, air filter etc. I can not get the tach to communicate with motor. Checked all connections @ ecu as back of gauges for corrosion. Nothing visible. Batteries are @ 12.3 volts so I’ve got them on charge and hopefully that’s the fix. Upon inspecting fuses, I noticed there is no 50 amp fuse and nothing in BCU slot. Should these 2 slota be empty? Thanks in advance

I don‘t have an answer for you other than if you search the threads you should find one where a guy had a similar issue with the tachs not working.

You can go here and put in your info to get a digital copy of your owners manual.

I don’t know about the fuses but check to make sure that you have 2 ground wires connected to your battery.

Thank you all for your replies. I’m not sure which was the fix, but after placing both batteries on tender and replacing all terminal connectors, my issue is resolved. Also, the previous owner did not reconnect the common neutral between the two batteries. I found it at the bottom of the battery compartment and reconnected and all seems to be well. Lesson learned, the electronics are extremely sensitive, be sure all connections are clean and tight, batteries are adequately charged
