Surfing no rope on 6 foot epoxy surfboard no ballast just wife and 2 teenage kids in boat. If you have a small wake you just need an ocean type board with more floatation. Especially if your old and fat like me haha. And yes, that is a XXL life jacket

9.4 mph on Simrad , around 6000 rpm, we usually get up get around 11 hit the stock cruise and start backing down -3 or so. Everyone says you have to have all these speed controls like perfect pass, the stock one works fine for us.
