Ladies and gents, just picked up my brand new 2017 AR190. She comfortably fits in the garage and we can't wait to have her on the water. Will need to get the break in period in soon. Any tips or advice around what I should do the first time the boat is on the water? I will note this is my 2nd Yamaha jet boat. I previously owned a 2013 AR192 so I'm somewhat familiar, I've never owned new though.

First, be sure to fill your cooler before you go out.

Second, do a safety check all around. Fire extinguishers, flares, etc. so you know where everything is and if anything is missing. Life jackets and make sure they are stowed a good place--same with the floatation device.

Third, check all screws and band clamps. They frequently ship with those lose and they can ruin your day.

Finally, have fun.

That would be my list.

Congrats looks great. Hmm looks like you are at old H&H dealership where I purchased my boat now called Black Beard. Do you stay in Oklahoma?

That's right! I actually live in Wichita, KS. I couldn't imagine owning any other kind of boat so this was the closest dealer to me. You?
