1st timer here.... 3rd time out this year central Ohio 95 hours on boat, bought new last May Going down the lake at 7000rpm and one motor dies... fires right back up and boat for another 45 min Start to head back to the dock a few miles away and the same motor dies again.... no alarms no nothing house battery is low on charge tho Dock the boat, go inside for an hour, back out and that motor just cranks.. again house battery is low, but other motor starts up turn yellow battery switch so the blower will work and that motor now does nothing won’t even turn over?? Charging house battery now Thoughts please

Check your rear platform cut off switches, circled in the pic. Your starboard (right motor) switch may need to be adjusted. When the platform is closed, it should be pushing the switch down. Could be slightly out of rig which could explain why it seems to cut off while ur underway. Hope this helps!

First, your house battery is not supposed to have anything to do with starting. Verify that the battery leads are landed on the correct switch. The house battery being low is interesting, have you checked the battery over thoroughly, loose connections, proper electrolyte levels. Did you leave the batteries on a smart charger over the winter? Also, check to make sure that thin little black wire from the battery switch / DVSR is landed on the ground for the start battery. There is a member on here who found that this wire was not attached and once attached cured his low house battery situation. If that wire is not landed on ground the DVSR will not work, and thus your house battery will not charge. When the start battery is at 13.2 volts or above, the little red light on the DVSR module of the battery switch should be on indicating that the start and house batteries are paralleled, the light goes off and the DVSR opens at 12.7 volts.

Speaking of loose connections, go through and check all of the battery connections, multi pin plugs etc.. in the engine bay.

@BeauSko is correct on checking the clean out hatch cutoff switches. These switches not only cut off the ignition, they also cut off the start circuit for the engines. There are two cut off switches, one for each engine. Also, make sure the clean out hatch, latch is not too loose allowing the clean out hatch to move up and down.
