The 255 FSH delivers everything I think everyone wants in a 25' Center Console Jet boat! The highlights for me are:
  • 111 Gallon gas tank! Bimini here we come!!!!!
  • 2 Live wells, one with a glass front - will make grabbing that live bait much easier!
  • I live the bow seating layout and the floor that turns into a table
  • The full windshield is really nice.
  • The hard top tower looks awesome
  • The seat bolsters took to be really comfy
  • The depth of the clean out tray now means you can put fenders in there too
  • The Simrad screen is huge and looks like it would be easy to add radar to.
  • The stern seating looks really well done- heck - all the seating looks good.
  • The option for SVHO engines is nice....not sure what their fuel burn will be
  • Finally have a centered cleat in the bow!
  • Nice big spot for the cooler under the main seat!
  • I like all the solid switches easy to get to, not dependent on the Connext screen.
The pricing for the two available models is also very reasonable! 255E FSH Sport is $76,999 and the 252 FSH Sport is $69,799. The primary differences in the boats are the SVHO engines and the E-Series controls (E-throttles, launch controls, speed control). I love my E Series throttles, so they would be really hard to give up and only 7K for them and the bigger engines seems reasonable. I just don't know how much those engines will suck down gas!

A nice shot cruising along:

The cool looking bait well (is it perhaps too deep? I have long arms, but how tall do you have to be to reach the bottom?)

The front table layout:
table small.JPG

The helm (look - they put in cupholders at the helm!!!!):

A feel for the bow seating:

And the stern seating (notice it has pissers on both sides):

So what don't I like about it:
  • I'm not sure the Simrad screen will be a hit. Many people have allegiances and preferences for their GPS/Fish finder combos. They get used to the navigation, buttons etc. I wonder if that will turn some people off?
  • In the video (posted separately) you will see the storage/changing room...they put the AMP for the stereo on the seating surface??? I hope that's a pre-production model choice? Seems strange.
  • I wonder how easy it will be to get to the bow seating with the table in place. That is a big table.

Not much I don't like about it at this point! I am still wondering where they put the transducer....hopefully pretty far forward to get away from the neutral bubble wash that interferes with the down view.

I think this boat will be a hit!
I agree, Not sure IF I want to upgrade yet from my new 2020 210 FSH Sport.
It has a Centered bow cleat, and the two cup-holders in the helm!
Larger size fueltank is nice, but not sure I want the increased fuel consumption of the SVHO's.

But dang it is a sexy looking boat.

With 111 gallons you can go to Bimini and back on one tank of gas! (can't drive around much while you are there.....but unlike the other boats....probably only fill up once while there).

I do like that the 25 foot main line boats now have 75 gallon tanks...thats a 50% boost!

If I had to choose between the Scarab and Yamaha 25' CC, I would choose the Yamaha, but if I was also choosing between a jet CC and a more traditional outboard powered CC, in a heart beat, I would just go back to an an outboard unless wakesurfing behind a CC was an absolute priority.

1) I like the seating although I am not a fan of their new transom design with the huge step.
2) A 24.5' CC with a 22" draft? Seriously? Meaning, realistically, you need 30+ inches to safely motor around.
3) STILL no standard drive E controls. Still offering the hack wake mode solution for engines with poor throttle control.
4) It has a 111 gal tank because THE SVHO is going to suck gas. The normal 1.8s are going to have great range though! Would be nice if you could get the normal 1.8s with E.
5) Nothing new regarding improved ability to deal/handle grass clogging intakes.
6) Would have been nice if they offered without the hard top
7) Would be interesting a CC with a larger folding top like on the 250 series

It's nice but I would be more inclined to spend the money for a new or used real OB powered center console or bayboat.

I think some will be turned off by the Simrad by default option......some people are picky about the electronics they put in. They learn one brand and stick with them.
Any news on when availability of these will be at dealerships?

Not officially no. They said they are shipping now....

But for example, none of the photos show a light on top of the T-Top...so I wonder if its not quite done????

Do any photos show that rear seat down or removed? Every pic it looks like the rear seats seatback (not the transom seats) is up and is one always having to step over them? They look like they might be hinged?

looks like a single spreader light tucked under to t-top centerline?
you’re right, the lights are mentioned but have yet to see a detailed picture.

They are hinged, you have to take the cushions off first. There are two videos that show it.

As far as the amp in the head goes, I'm not sure that area is intended to be a seat anyhow. At least on my 210 that board is only supported on the front edge and I definitely wouldn't sit on it. I even built little supports just for the weight of the amp.

I do agree though that for a factory install seems like they could have found a place on the back of the console behind the electronics curtain.
