Is anybody interested in slightly used cockpit carpet with snaps? Recently replaced the carpet with Hydro-teak. I will consider any reasonable offer. Not sure of the shipping cost but will check.

We just bought our 242 LS and really like the look of the Hydro-teak. I'm just curious, how easy was it to install?

That's good to hear! Think we will install them soon. Thanks for the feedback.

The old Hydro turf on the boat came off very easy too. One thing to keep in mind, Hydro Teak still gets hot in the Florida sun, just like the carpet does. Much easier to keep clean though.

Thanks, I was wondering about the hydro turf on the deck. I was afraid it would be difficult to get off. We definitely need something easy to clean. The marina we are at now unfortunately has black soot on the ground which no matter how hard we have tried to avoid, it still ends up in the boat.

The Hydro teak does look good on the boat compared to the carpet. Also, you can add your boat name and some graphics to the hydro teak if you want. Will at Jetboat Pilot is great to work with and can help you with the design.

do you still have your carpet?

The carpet is probabaly the same color as yours, beige. We decided to keep the carpet in case we want to switch back, if the Hydro-teak doesn't hold up.
