This boat is awesome. Everybody that sees it loves it. Too bad summer is almost over.
I have a couple issues.
The bilge pump is constantly running. A quick search brought up 10 pages so here’s a pic. Is this the “old version” pump? And should it be replaced?
Also how do I remove the Attwood struts?
Just press in on the plastic and pull ?
Many thanks….

Your bilge pump, is it pushing out water while it is running?

The pump just keeps running when powered. There is no water.

Is there a manual switch that is turned on ? Have you pulled it out and checked for debris?

The struts should be straightforward to replace. Most have a locking spring-loaded circlip that you pull to unlock, then you just use a screwdriver to gently pry the head off the circular head. Install the new one by unlocking the circlip, push onto circular head and then lock it down.

On the bilge pump, did you check the float switch? Perhaps something has it pinned down thus activating the pump. It should float freely back up by itself.
