I’m thinking about SMARTLY ( making sure the bot sits in the water like it should sorta haha) distributing 1500lbs worth of steel shot ballast bags under my factory fat sacs to make this mf sit low low and boost the hell out of the wake. Anyone done this? I don’t wanna use the rear seat fat sacs but we literally surf or haul ass so the 1500lbs wouldn’t be a problem.

1500 is going to be too much weight in the boat with the factory filled 100%.

I've gone as far as 1300lbs and the boats maneuvering suffered, as well as being a lil sketchy on turn arounds after a run or downed rider.

1000lbs was the max I could handle without the boat seriously struggling to hold speed or get to speed for surfing.

I installed custom pitched twin scroll Leadingedgeimpellers from Dave (Original owner of impros) that helped a ton. I usually stay 1000 to 1250 extra weight depending on people on boat.

2 on boat, 1 rider, im rocking 1k minimum extra.

The other issue is carrying that weight 24/7. The fuel consumption and handling again suffers.

When you say 1000lbs max extra are you referring to just raw weight added before people and gear? Just trying to ensure I’m clear on whats what. With the 1k extra and loaded ballast did you see an improvement in the wake?

I shoot for 1k extra weight not including 3/4 people including surfer, and gear on boat. If more people come i bring a lil less weight. 1350 was the most i ever ran but was with my new twin scrolls.

Id say 750ish in back of boat and 250/300 in bow had been my recipe.
