Since 2013 my 212ss takes on water, its not a ton but I know every time I go out when I pull the plug water will come out. Now its not a trickle, its a steady stream for some time. If I leave the boat in over night its a good 30 seconds of water. I dont know where this is coming from. Has anyone determined how this is happening and stopped it.
Im wondering if I need to reseal my drain plug

Rub rail, cleanout hatch, thru hull fittings., could be a number of things.

Have you tried to put water in the bilge while it's on the trailer to see if it leaks out anywhere?

If the water is getting in then it can get out. If it leaks out from anywhere, you found your leak. Is the cleanout tray sealed with anything? caulk, silicone?

So if it was the clean out tray, would I be seeing water on top of the plugs, I ask cause there was very little water on them yesterday when I took out

You could be. Depends how much is washing up there. I have mine sealed with silicone and I have changed out the anchor locker drain. Was out in heavy chop yesterday for about 6 hours with water washing over the transom and at the end of the day I barely got a cup or so out of the keel plug. Before those two mods I would have gallons come out.

Ye & no. I have one plug that holds water and one doesn't. When you slow down abruptly the water washes up on the swimdeck and gets under the lid but the drain in there can only take it out so fast so if your access hatch isn't sealed you will get water in the bilge.

Using the same technique suggested earlier to use water to help you find the leaky spots, you could fill up the clean outs with water, (even plug the little drain and fill to the brim, and let it sit even overnight). Did the water migrate to the bilge? up to what depth of the clean out? that effort will buy you some information.

Ok Im gonna reseal the C/O hatch area and see what that does. I never really inspect in there just put the plugs in and close it. If I do go with filling the boat with water would that show if the rub rail was the issue?

Not the rub rail, it is too high I believe, over your the height of your engines.

Yep, The rub rail is way too way high, so not quite, but if you take the tray out to re-seal it, and you spray your garden hose to the seam from the inside, some water might be pushed out showing you where the rub rail needs attention.

I'm starting to use removeable sealant from the hardware store to seal up the access lid. Seems I'm in the bilge for one reason or another a few times a season.

I was as well, which is why I removed the caulk/silicone entirely and replaced it with a thin adhesive weatherstripping.

Filling your bilge a little with water with the bilge plug in would also tell you if you have a leak at your bilge plug. Some have reported leaks around the bilge plug fitting... That would not require the full filling of the boat to find the leak. A good interim step in your hunt.
