I got a new 28lb anchor and am paranoid from all the stories ive heard about bouncing and stress cracks in the gel coat so I whipped this up from scrap I had from other projects. it should protect the boat and if needed I will put some kind of strap over the top or something.

Very nice!!!

Nice work, but that's quite the anchor for a 190! She'll stay put thru a hurricane...

yea, I have a plan. I have one of those anchor buddy bungees, and I want to back the boat in on a sandbar so I can access it from the swim platform. I need something stout to hold it because I boat on the mississippi river which has decent current.
