Anyone know what a spare rim and tire cost?

Made it all the way to Florida and back then stop off the side of road about 20minutes from the lake to check something in the boat. Pull back on the road to the sound of a thumping tire and realize I have a flat. Guess what I did not get a spare 15 years with my last boat and a spare then just a few months with this boat and no spare so I get a flat.

Even a patch would not help the gouge in this tire so I had to get a new tire instead. Now need to get a spare rim and tire hopefully to match.

Glad you caught it and stopped in time! That is always my biggest fear with towing. You should be able to find a spare wheel and tire for around $100-$150 total.

Yeah check out etrailer they may have the rim and tire you are looking for.

If you want one immediately check Northern Tools or Tractor Supply Company, they typically have them in stock. West Marine will also have them in stock but will probably be a little pricey.

Walmart has a wheel and tire with spare tire mount for trailer for around $ 130

I assume by now the problem is resolved. If you have time you can go on Amazon and get a radial tire and rim for around $60.

I bought a new pair of aluminum rims with radials mounted and now have two spares. They look nice and the radials ride much smoother.
