I saw a Glastron Jet boat at the Austin, Tx boat show last weekend. I didn't even know they made a jet boat. He told me Glastron has been making them for a couple of years. The dealer was clueless about jet boats, he still thinks all the other jet boats are 3-4 passenger. I asked if he went by the Yamaha booth to see the 11 passenger, twin engine 360hp, 24' boat. At first he tried to tell me they were not true jet boats and when I asked him what the difference was between Glastron and Yamaha, he said he is not familiar with Yamaha so he could not tell me the differences. I laughed and told the group I was with that we need to move on.

I did see a 2015 AR240, the 2015 LS was not there. I will say the sales guy at the Yamaha booth was worse than the Glastron Rep. Even though I new the answer, they had a Limited S and I asked what year it was and the rep didn't know. Even after reading the display he couldn't tell me.

 Salesman like this should NOT be in the booth at a boat show! Smile and wave.

@mgabsa , so what did you think of the glastron?

@Ronnie the Fit and finish on the Glastron was good. I had to walk across the rear cushion to get on it. I did not see a clean out in the event something is sucked into the intake. I popped the hood and the engine, btw single engine drive, is tucked way up in there. I wouldn't want to work on that motor.

The Glastron reminded me of the Sea Ray Jet Boat I saw a couple of years ago.
