After reading everyone’s opinion on running the relay setup off the wakemakers rocker switches I decided to go all out and build my panel to get started in the kitchen. I have bench tested and all seems to work correctly.

Have my three pumps mounted in my engine compartment and have drilled my holes through the wall going to the transom area where my intakes will be. Still working up the nerve to drill though the bottom of the hull.

I will mount my panel in the helm area on the inside of the front starboard seat back on rubber risers.

I will add many more pics today, running hose and wiring in pumps now. I hope to finish build today and am not stopping until it’s done.

Got my intake thru hulls drilled, mounted and plumbed to the pumps today. Talk about tedious!

Still a lot of work to be done but we are getting there.

Once I get everything done I’ll post up a parts list. I have it all saved but want to add it every little part I’ve had to adjust or add along the way.

Have a 750lb for the ski locker and 360lb’ers for under the port and strbd seats. Then the Yamaha transom bag I’ll fill with an aux port like many have done here.

this is supposed to be an off season project or at least while it's not 100+ outside, I think it will definitely be worth it seeing @swatski auto pumps in action,

your profile shows you have a 2005 ar230 but the engine is a TR1, did you upgrade boats ?

I noticed your black rubber cleanout hose was off, was this difficult to remove ? we don't see to many members removing them,

I've studied @swatski build and a few others. Figured I could knock this out in a weekend and a little throughout the week so I can enjoy it throughout this summer since I'm tired of throwing pumps over the side. LOL

Those hoses were fairly easy to get out. I had to remove them to be able to get my drill in there so I could drill the engine wall for the hose runs through there.

Got all the bags plumbed in, all we are left with now is running wiring from the panel to the pumps, switches and battery. Added the 3 way valve for my aux port on the swim deck. Venting all three bags on one side which will also be where the bags drain so I can kill the pumps and not have to watch the bags shrink up.

I'll follow up with some more pic in a day or so. Going to attempt to wrap this up this evening so I can go test it Friday and make sure there's no hang ups for the weekend.

Wrapped up the install this morning and tested this afternoon. Far exceeded my expectations, a little more than 3 minutes to fill 370lb under seat bags, 4:30 to fill 750lb center ski locker bag.

I’ll take some pics of complete install tomorrow and post up.

Wonder what it would take to get custom bags made that could fit all the way into the back of the hull in the rear? Tons of space back there it seems. I bet if you could get 700lb bags that would eliminate the need for any transom bags.

Fly High Fat Sac 750lb (w707) is 50” x 20” x 20” so without moving gas lines and rub and a bunch of rub rail screws ground down it would never fit in a 210.

Not sure how much more room the 240’s have or even the 250’s but I’m sure it could be done.

The idea sounds awesome because then you would have a fully functional automated surf ready system within minutes on a boat at a fraction of the cost of a dedicated surf boat.

It worked better than expected, we were overflowing out the side thru hull vents for the 370lb under seat bags in a little over 3 minutes, ski locked took about 4:30 minutes to start overflowing out the side thru hull.

It was a tedious job but it will be well worth it on surf days since it was taking 20-30 minutes to setup for surfing tossing pumps over the side.

you'd definitely have to go custom, and likely put in a small wall over the rub rail screws. As well as carpet over the raw fiberglass in the rear.

Swatski I got a lot of my ideas from you, kxcam22 and a few others on this forum so thank you. I’ve still gotta run my hose for my aux port for my transom bag. These pumps don’t mess around, they move some volume.

How did you run line from engine bay to ski locker? Up center of floor over fuel tank? Have any pics? I am going to automate my AR240 next spring.
Yeah, I removed the fuel tank cover and ran it through there. There’s plenty of space to run your hoses.
