I don't know if yall have tried this but it works awesome. If you have ever been anywhere that the water turns the bottom of your boat yellow or brown looking this stuff takes it right off with easy. Works great on rust stain on your trailer too.

Any grocery store sells it. Has lots of uses but it specifically says to use it on boats. I have a friend that has been using it for years and swears by it

I've been using it for years, great stuff. Works really well to remove water/soap stains on glass, I use it on shower doors. You can also find it at Lowe's and Home Depot, seems to be sold anywhere they sell any soft scrub cleaners.

@Ramblin Wreck this is the stuff I was telling you about when we were in Bimini.

They have a spray version that might be a little gentler on the gel coat and use a little less elbow grease :winkingthumbsup"
The active ingredient - oxalic acid - is used in other hull cleaners like Star Brite Safe Hull Cleaner. Many commercial hull cleaners use a dilute hydrochloric acid. Just don't breath any of this stuff, it has been known to cause problems for those that have.

Oh, and assuming you'll be doing this while the boat is on the trailer, those with galvanized trailers will want to avoid prolonged contact with oxalic acid, it is somewhat corrosive. You CAN use a dilute solution to clean galvy, but rinse well with fresh water after cleaning.

This is an excellent cleaner for stainless steel. I use it on my outdoor kitchen with impressive results.
