Bent the bimini top on the last outing

Last time out, we traversed some narrow and shallow areas of the Wekiva River (no regrets, it was STUNNING!), and a branch seemed to come out of nowhere. It caught a hold of the bimini rod and put a slight curve in it (middle bar in the picture). Its not a big deal as it still functions, but it does make it tough to clip the support rod (bottom bar in picture). Is there a way a do-it-yourselfer can repair this?

Sure.. remove bimini from boat remove the one end. remove that bracket. Provide a sturdy rest at the chosen fulcrum point get an assistant to hold one end and apply slow firm and increasing pressure down until you get it back in line. I say this as I do not see any kinks at the bend.. this should be stainless and is very very strong stuff. Resist the urge to bounce pressure.. you could over do it. Good luck.
