Saw this in a Yamaha Facebook Group. Someone ran into someone else's dock. Looks like they throttled down but no thrust no steering.....

Looks like a Yamaha, although a bit grainy, maybe someone can tell which model.... Also looks like two people riding on the swim platform sucking up the CO.... All sorts of stupid going on there.

Hmmm.... So where is the new Gel Coat repair post?

That is not how you dock. I read an article on it...

Fortunately, looks like they hit a floating dock. I'd be pissed if they hit my dock like that and left without even considering damage to the dock.

Nose of boat looks my 242, but newer than mine. It was such a tight area to navigate....they were only off by a little bit right! Just reinforces what we all have to deal with from time to time. No brains....no integrity.

Looks to be a 242 Limited S. It has the big bimini. Doesn’t have the graphics to be a 24 X series that has the same bimini. The people sitting on the transom while underway aren’t too smart either. Boat is filled with idiots.

Huh.... I watched the video again and I noticed as they start to take off someone is running up to the bow to check for damage..... Not even a concern about the dock and the owner's property.

Can't really tell what color it is. But it's got the giant fixed bimini top, so it has to be a limited or X model.

Probably liquored up and trying to outrun and oncoming DUI. Shouldn’t be too hard to figure who owns THAT boat. Fairly specific and if the area is know could’ve located quickly.

Its a 2016 or 2017 242 Limited S. Tower has the extra frame for the solar panels.

Wow didnt see that post, hate to double post stuff... my bad

All good, big forum...just wanted to add the riding on the swim platform that will get you pulled over.

Yakes!!!!!! Can't seem to find any words to describe it better than STUPID!

Maybe he drives a Tesla and thought the boat is supposed to prevent that.
