So I have a 2014 scarab 195 ID with 200hp and I’m trying to figure out my wear ring issue so I’m pretty sure it’s a 159mm pump and to let people know I bought the boat with a aftermarket solas impeller I have no idea what size or pitch it is but I was going to change the wear ring and I bought a 159mm wear ring but it seems the impeller is too small for the wear ring I was wondering if I can put a 155.5 mm wear ring in a 159mm pump

I don't have a definitive answer to your question, but that doesn't seem to be an excessive gap. Pics can be deceiving, but it's hard to fool a feeler gauge, and you can check that gap against the acceptable specs for your boat to verify for yourself. The best next step, IMO, is to track down the specs for the gap, and report those numbers to get an idea from someone who can compare for you, or hit you up with the specs you're looking for.

Good luck

I also don't know the answer. 159 and 161 are the same ring but one is thicker. Not sure about the 155 though.

Gap looks a little large to me. But I agree to simply measure it. Specs provided.

Alternatively, just buy the orig proper impeller. It is generally the best for all around use cases.
