Does anyone have any experience with these drive on docks? I was talking to a dealer on the phone and he said he could build me one for $6,500 plus an additional $2,000 for an air tank that would be needed for the weight of the 242. He said he built one for a customer in CT that had the same boat and it required the air tank to keep it fully out of the water.

He also bashed jetdocks pretty hard. He said they scratch hulls unlike the jetslides and also said the prices were outrageous.

I might pop over to the AC boat show to see if there are any drive on docks there.

Have you seen what @Julian uses to keep his boat out of the water, https://jetboaters.net/threads/airdock-a-way-to-wet-slip-with-no-worry-and-no-fixed-lift.139/ ?

I thought about these before settling on the lift I have now. The one main reason I gave them a thought was for the fact that it didn't require electricity. I don't have any experience with them other than I have seen them in use at a near by marina.

My problem with those are that you can't walk on them. My marina has L shaped finger docks and I wouldn't be able to get the cover around the tower poles on the opposite side. Plus they won't let anyone attach anything to the docks other than dock lines.

I've given a lot of different ideas thought and I think my only solution is a drive on dock.

FYI--My airdock is only attached to the floating dock with ropes.... The frame for the Airdock floats.
