Canyon boating

The Glen Canyon Dam separates Lake Powell from the Colorado River.

I don't think there's much boating that goes on between Glen Canyon dam and lake Mead...? But there are several reservoirs on the Colorado great for boating, such as Powell, Mead, Havasu, Mojave... and many areas throughout Arizona where people boat on the river in between.

The pics are all off different areas of Lake Powell. My experience is you won't find a better place on the Colorado to boat camp and explore than Lake Powell.... No other section of the river is going to give you as many canyons and sights in one stretch. Way more than you'll ever pack into one vacation. We try to make it a yearly trip.
