Anyone know how to fix cleats that will not go in any more? After this weekend 2 of my cleats are stuck half way up and looks bent. Not sure how the heck that would have happened tied up to another boats tho.

I have one on the lower swim deck that doesn't go in all the way. I've tried a number of lever arms to bend it back in to shape. I applied far more force than I was really comfortable with, given the fiberglass surroundings, and it made no difference. I came to the conclusion that applying enough force to bend it back into shape would be very scary for the fiberglass it's mounted to. I could be wrong, but it just didn't feel good. I think the safest option is replacement. The cleats are $50-60. Getting to them to replace them is another story however.

Ya I thought about replacing them but I'm like how the hell do you get to them? That's something I would like to know so I attempt it myself. I can see on one of them that it has cracked very slightly around in a spot around it. Maybe a warranty claim?
