Connext Lightning hit

I have a client with a 2018 AR210 that took a lightning hit summer 2022
I ordered replacement tachs and display and harness.
However after this long the display is still on backorder and my client is out of patience (understandably so)
Motors run fine and will communicate with YDIS but dash is dead for data.
Will newer equipment communicate with a model this old.
I thought about just installing a large display and then found the language used by context is proprietary.
Looking for ideas...

You might be able to get a different model Yamaha Connext screen to work but not another brand as you said - Yamaha has its own communication (with they'd switch to NEMA 100%-but I'm going to guess it would cost them more?)

The only advice I can offer is to keep any eye out for one being parted out. Also keep an eye on greatlakesskipper.com as they sometimes have parted out stuff from all brands.

I would bet another model connext has a different plug making swapping out impossible, but you never know

Hoping someone else has been through it.
I have new tachs but the display module is made of unobtanium..
