Almost half way through winter but I don't think I've had my boat out since late September/early October. Now I'm feeling like I have to get on it even if that means working on it or driveway boating as @Ajohn5555 once stated. Maybe I'll have a few hours before the Super Bowl. I'm not sure if I'll do the easy stuff (e.g. installing air filters) or if I'll break out the power tools but I think it will be nice to spend some time on her.

I think all of us northern folks feel your pain!!! I'm getting fidgety too...

I'm with you @Ronnie, I'm gonna have to spend some time on the boat soon or my seperation anxiety is going to get worse. lol! I'll be "barn boating" though, since that is where mine is. Tucked away at my father's.

No side house boating for me. It is a major PITA to pull the tarp and cover off. Guess I will just have to stock pile my mods. :(

I've been stockpiling mods since before thanks giving, lately every time I walk by that pile of mods my wife reminds me that i may have been better off with the pile of money it cost. it also reminds me that I haven't been on my boat for a while and I do feel bad about that. Currently it is the most expensive vehicle I own and the one I use the least, next to the jet skis anyway.

I plan to do a little garage boating this weekend to work on replacing the Hydroturf on the swimdeck. It's supposed to rain and be cold all weekend so it'll give me something to do. I started pulling the old stuff off the other night and so far they've all come off in one piece without leaving much behind but dirt. I'm excited to get the new Seadek on then I'll be ready for spring to be here.

Speaking of boating...how bad do the plugs foul once you start the engines for the first time?? I fogged mine before putting her to bed for the winter but we have had some really nice days here and there and almost put her in the water but didn't want to go through the whole fogging thing again.

@Jim Robeson if you fogged your engines, then replaced with new spark plugs, you should be fine. It will smoke a bit and might even sputter, but you should be good to go once it all burns off.

I feel your pain! I usually start my season in April/ May. I hope to start March/ April this year. I can't wait
