Last Saturday on the Parker Strip in Arizona was crazy. Couple the number of boats and jet skis with strong winds and the wave action was high. My 2006 SX-230 got some rash on the nose. Area is about 2" x 3'. I am the 3rd owner of the boat and don't know the exact color names but for intents and purposes I call it black on the freeboard area and white on the decking. My question is does anyone have a recommendation for the spray paint I should use on the black area after proper preparations? Your help is greatly appreciated.

you probably want gel-coat instead of spray paint,

I don't know the exact answer for your color question but in 2006 there was a "black", you can probably go to west marine or another gel coat provider and they can "match" it,

Did it scratch it all the way to expose fiberglass or did you just loose the "color" portion ?

It got through the gel coat but not very much past it. I had not thought about buying gel coat. Thank you for the feedback.
