I've been enjoying my 2010 212x for 5 years now and the majority of my boating has been on Lake Zumbro just North of Rochester, MN. I'm pretty sure I was one of the first Yamaha jet boats that started frequenting the Lake and now 5 years later I see just as many Yamaha jetboats as I see other kinds. This weekend though was interesting because I saw another 2010 212x with the red hull and star logo, my doppleganger. When I look on the map I don't see many anchors in my area so I'm checking here to see if they are one of them. All I had time for was a wave when we are on the water, but I'll have to get my footballs ready to toss into their boat next time we pass by. :)

I'm noticing the same on Minnetonka this year..a lot more Yamaha's than ever before. Good news for River Valley Power Sports I guess. :) I have also noticed that it's pretty much all 19' and 24' models. It's rare to see a 21' out there most days. I think I have only seen a doppelganger of my year/model once on any lake, haven't seen them again since.

I was probably one of the first on the St. Croix, now there are countless Yamaha's. Easily the most popular late model runabout on the river.

I am representing 21 footers on Tonka every weekend! I don't see many, and never my Doppleganger. I agree that even over just the 3 seasons I've been on the lake I am seeing more Yammies.

Where were you today!?! :)

Yes Sir! Started at Rockvam and headed over to Grays to grab a buddy. Tried getting him up on a wakeboard for the first time in Wayzata Bay but it was too rough so we hauled all the way over to Stubbs. Got some great conditions and he was up in a few tries! The wife is out of town so my kid pulled me for the first time, did great. Perfect day; hope you were out there too.I get the feeling you were one of the Yammies I saw

Guess we were covering different parts of the lake on Sat. and you are right, couldn't have been much better out there. A little busy, but pretty typical, and the weather was nice too!

We were up in Cooks Bay for the Wake Surfing Championship early, then from there by way of Seton lake/channel and Crystal bay over to Big Island. Lunch and swimming on Big Island then back to the surfing comp. thru Spring Park Bay/Black lake, then back to the Mtka regional park to the ramp.
