hi guys and gals. Just bought an 09 yammy. She was rode hard and put away wet. Around 60 hours though. Got it in heated barn now. Question is the engine bay has some corrosion on various parts. Can I hose it down with silicone to slow the bleeding. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I guess depends on the corrosion. My po kept the boat on a lift an ended up neglecting the engine bay. Simple green and some softbrushes brought back to acceptable standards. I had no actual rust anywhere. So a picture of the type of corrosion would be useful
