FaceBook "Others" folder

So I may be the only person that missed this in the country but I'm going to show my ignorance anyway.
I just logged onto FB on a computer for the first time in a long long time, I clicked on messages and noticed a "others" folder...
I had a message from Julian saying they created a new site, some guy from Tallahassee sent me a message in May asking about boating in saltwater, somehow he saw that I boated to Shell Island a lot, there were a couple more from several months ago from people that I am friends with in there.

So if you don't log on to FB on a computer and didn't know this either, you may have messages you never knew about!

That has to do with your privacy settings in FB, I think. messages from people you're in groups with but not friends with can get directed to different locations.

Basically if you are not friends with someone on facebook, and they message you, it goes to the OTHER FOLDER. Also help with companies from spamming you inbox.
