Wanted to go out 2 weeks ago but I had to take my boat in for some engine work. So today was the day. Boat ran great as always. Amazing how great it feels to be back out on the water again. Although water is not as clear as normal because of heavy rain we've had lately.

Hope you guys up north won't have to wait much longer.20140427_141038.jpg

@SuperJetDan Water wasn't as cold as I was expecting today. But with the wind, a jet ski would definitely be different. Hope you get out soon.

@ToddW850 welcome to the 2014 season!!

That water looks like my water after they dump Lake O into the Gulf!! Every year people protest the water releases and it's finally making waves on Capitol Hill-- maybe clear water is in our future.

Thanks @Murf'n'surf . Hope they get that straightened out down there.

Usually the water is clear. We've had some very heavy rains here last few weeks. Enough that the rivers were swelling and they got half a foot over flood stage. But the rivers, and runoff, empty into the bay (were this pic was taken) and work their way to the gulf. It will eventually clear up, as long as we don't have any flooding storms.

LOL...With that boat pic and your avatar together, it really seems like you enjoy playing in mud puddles! Destin has some gorgeous waters. When it clears up we will all be envious.

Haha @Seadeals, yeah maybe a little bit. As long as it's water, I enjoy being in it. Although the below picture is what I prefer. This was at Crab Island (Destin) last summer.

And here is a pic coming through the channel, approaching the Destin Bridge. Crab Island is to the right of the pic.

Gorgeous pics!! I can't wait to get out in a couple of weeks.

Thanks @jcyamaharider . Hope you can get out sooner than later. Seems like I had already been waiting 10 years for this last winter to end so I could get back out on the boat haha.

I am going to try and maybe head out Friday after work for a shake down and top off oil and to fill the ballast for the first time.

@jaybro72 Might put on at the Missouri River if the group doesn't come up with some other plans. Also as long as it is clear.
