Just towed home my new baby. 2011 242LS. A whopping 17 hours of recorded use thus far. Been shopping and researching and googling and window shopping and forum reading for soooooo long now. Glad it's finally done. Ecodiesel got 16.1 mpg's pulling her home, not too shabby I thought. My old Tundra only got 11 pulling my tiny Seadoo.

She looks perfect!

Is the hull blue?

My GM 6.2 (Sierra Denali) gets 11 at best towing our 230. So 16 with the Ecodiesel is a huge improvement.

Blue indeed! 20150222_174245.jpg 20150222_174304.jpg

Sweet boat, congrats!

I get 17.1 in my 5.7 Hemi without towing. 12 miles a day at 85 mph kinda kills my weekly average. Your getting excellent tow mileage in the Eco diesel. Enjoy!

Yeah, mileage is great. But, second check engine light already! (@600 miles!). Oh well, I'll never keep her outside of warranty I'm sure.

By then she'll be dialed in and ready to run another 150k!

Yeah. Actually if I did keep it that long, I'd rip all this extra crap off. I'm sure that's what is tripping the light again.

I am jealous of your blue 242!

But does she have a fridge?

Not yet buddy, but I've been looking seriously at ARB units and maybe a solar panel to run it. Less than 1 amp draw? Sign me up! (probably next year though, all about the stereo this year)

I thought about the ARB units but did not want it in the way.

Awesome Congrats! She looks great1

I'm glad you finally got it! Looks great! I'm glad you went with the one with 17 hours. Its still new!

NICE boat....I know what you mean about mileage...my Tundra gets about 10-11 hauling our AR230 up to northern Alabama every summer but I do love it anyway.

(3 years so far and never a check engine light..LOL)

LOL. Yeah, mine was problem free as well. It doesn't even bug me the Ram is acting up. If it happens again, I'll be looking real hard at lemon law which just may be a blessing in disguise. In the meantime, it's just giving me some much needed parking relief in my driveway. Too many dam cars here.

Congrats. Summer can't come quick enough.

Congrats Veedubtek. Good looking boat I hope you and your family enjoy your experience. Remember to post pics of your upgrades.

Very nice!

Congratulations on the new boat!! 11 hours???.....that is awesome!!!
