Jolly Roger themed bottle opener, 'nuff said!

Did you use self tapping? Or Machine bolts with a nut on the back? What is the torque limitation on the downward force of the bottle to ensure gelcoat safety and fiberglass stability? These are all critical questions that must be answered in such a highly technical installation. . . . . .;)

Your warranty may be void....lol

I'd like to see step by step pics. Also, how many beer install was this?

I was wondering how much torque this puts on the plastic and how thick it is there. I wondered about putting in one...and thought I might put a backing plate of some sort in, and use bolts and nuts to hold it. I also wondered if they made plastic ones as I'm guessing this isn't stainless?

Bottles don't get into my soft sided coolers!

For $5 it had better be stainless! Seriously though, it is through bolted with rubber washers between it and the gel coat and large flat washers on the inside instead of a backing plate.
I'm pleased to say it works quite well after several test runs.

Where does it come from? Looking at it I assumed it to be aluminum.

You can get them on eBay Amazon or wherever really. I have a few in various places around the house. Star-X is the brand. Zinc plated steel I believe. I've had one outside for 6years and no rust other than the screws.

Yes on Amazon. I purchased stainless steel hardware to replace the included screws. Good to know you haven't had any rust issues with yours.
I'll have to check on the maintenance interval schedule for this equipment.

I remember in our 20's we thought EVERYTHING was a bottle opener.....most worked too......lol
