Test driving the 2017 AR240 tomorrow at Cycle Springs. Anything I should be looking for during the test drive? This will be my first time on a Yamaha Jet Boat.
Grease in trailer bearings... If they didn't add it, what else did they miss?
Brake fluid in there master cylinder. My dad missed this one tone and we were almost in an accident
Engine oil on the water after a test run...
Notes any and all little things and make them fix
Get them to demonstrate the deployment and storage of the bimini. Wrapping it up and putting the boot on first time can be a little frustrating if your alone with no advance training. I have the 2016 model 240 and chose it in large part because of the bimini size and shape. Others prefer the extended cockpit coverage on some other models. Compare and know the differences. Have a great day on the water !!
The boat was awesome. Dan ended up taking us out on the boat and showed up everything. Full 180 U-turns at 50mph sold me. We ended up buying the boat yesterday and will pickup next week.
