I'm looking for someone to verify or correct my understanding of fuel delivery. Before I start buying parts randomly LOL!
1. With the key in the Accessory Position (engine not running) the Electric Fuel Pump should not run?
2. Cranking a cold engine the Electric Fuel Pump should delivery fuel to the Cold Start Solenoid (831995T)?
3. If the engine is cold, the Solenoid delivers fuels to the 3 carbs to prime the system.
4. Once the engine is warm, when I crank the engine the Electric Fuel Pump and the Cold Start Solenoid are bypassed?
5. The fuel system is 'self choking' and depressing the top of the Cold Start Solenoid (when the engine is cold cranked) is not required?
6. If I am testing fuel delivery I would assume that cranking the engine with the fuel hose detached from the Electric Fuel Pump I should see it pumping when trying to crank?
7. When cold starting, if the Electric Fuel Pump is in fact pumping fuel then the Cold Start Solenoid should also be delivering fuel to each of the 3 Fuel Enrichment ports on the carbs?
