Fuel line removal

Anyone know how to removed the fuel lines from the fuel pump? I am trying to take the fuel pump out of the tank to siphon all the gas out of it. I cant figure out how to remove the plastic pieces inside the line that keep the line from coming off and don't want to break them trying to take it off the wrong way. 2006 AR230. Thanks!

you could also just remove your fuel sender unit and that should give you a nice hole to put a hose down,
if you have a YDS you can disconnect it at the fuel rail and tell it to pump it dry,

@Scottintexas I did not know you could do that with the YDS. I might just empty mine this winter.
