Sorry, not jetboat related, but needed some opinions form the modifiers here. I have a 25 gallon fuel tank on my pontoon boat, located under the rear lift-up section.

I'd like to add the ability to fill the tank from inside the boat.

I'm looking to either cut a hole in the tank top and add in a screw in cover/cap, or to add a t-fitting to the fill hose, and a cap . I'm starting to look now for fittings or pieces that can be used or modified to work.

Any inputs? ideas? known parts

I don't have access to the inside to bolt something like this. would potting it in a big goop of 5200 make the grade ?

Why not leverage The hose??

With some fittings add a proper filler in line with the existing. Maybe use plywood or aluminum to mount it on top once is hooked on.

With the hoses there so accessible I would not make a permanent hole in that tank if I could help it.
