Sorry to hear about all this damage this pas storm has caused. It Made me start thinking if we could have a network of a few pre planned hiding spots for boats and skis for future storms. I know I have a large driveway in Augusta I could offer. Maybe If we had a running list of some sort maybe it would be easier for people living along the coast to have a plan?

If it's a lousy idea I apologize, Just thinking out loud.

No, it is always a good idea to have a plan, even if that plan does not always work out as intended. I am way off the beaten path, 12 miles from the west coast of New England (Lake Champlain) and about 30 miles from Canada but I do have over 12000sf of covered storage, minus what is already in it, and many acres outside for interim storage. Time distances for ref., Boston ~4hrs., NYC ~6hrs., Montreal ~1.5hrs. All depending on traffic.

WOW thats a big building.

I think it's a great idea

I'm the same way. Have 5+ acres I could easily get permission to store boats on for an interim time to help storm victims, but I'm 10+hrs from the coast, and over a mountain range from as well. So I'm not sure it would be worth it to many.
