The weather was perfect tonight for watching fireworks from a boat. The water is hovering at 80 degrees!

All is good here is central Georgia, 'cept I am recovering <SLOWLY, from 1 TERRIBLE head cold. But it's all chilly and at times a little drizzly or rainy outside, so it's fine fer now.

I would love to make it up to Wintergreen one of these years. That or Snowshoe. Been in the mid-south too long and miss the skiing.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! The screening on the porch worked well for our party (and was needed as it hit 30 degrees last night) and everyone had a great time! Now the clean up begins (although it doesn't look too bad....just one chair that go a flute of champagne dumped on while carrying a tray full around-thankfully wasn't the whole tray!!!)

I do enjoy the mid-south but do miss the skiing, NOT the cold!

I was a bit hungover this morning so obviously was not thinking clearly.
