Hello, I have a 2015 Yamaha SX192 and the digital tachometer broke. I bought one from an AR192, but it doesn't show the fuel level or any engine warnings. I'd like to know if anyone knows if I can keep it and do something to make everything work, or if I have to buy the original, which is very expensive. Thanks.

Almost all these yamaha gauges are year and model specific. They tend to change things often. Most likely yamaha has discontinued the part by now so getting it new maybe tough or very expensive

Buy the OEM gauge if you can find it and be done with your problem.

If I had the money, I wouldn't be asking if there was any way to fix the one I had already bought, which wasn't working.

Did you verify that the used one you bought is the same part number. If it is i would return it to the seller because it is inoperable. If it is not working there really is no way to fix it. Some companies out there say they can fix these gauges but when people get them back they still don't work properly

something similiar happened to my old 195, didn't bother trying to fix it, just bought an OEM and problem was solved

Partzilla says they can get you one for a mere $2132.

The 2015 AR 192 uses the same part number: F3E-U8245-00-00

$2132 for a tach? Is Yamaha on drugs? I can afford just about anything and I wouldn't pay that. (Say's the guy that paid I think $400for a clean out plug 2 years ago)

Be glad its still available. All the tachs for the 2015 to 2018 240/242 are all discontinued
