Well, I've had a couple and happiness is that last payment. Now, I tell my girlfriend, "I do care, I just don't give a Sh@#! She has slowly come around and thinks gun are cool and I'm over taxed. And I haven't got my boat yet. I'm picking it up end of May. Brand new, 2013 AR240!

When my wife tells people about our wedding day she usually includes that I cried (a little) during the ceremony. If I'm present and the person or persons hearing this glance my way, I respond, "Of course I cried, it's not every day i give up half my shit". That is, half of my future income.
On the rare occasion that a guy asks me for marriage advice, I tell him to buy all his toys before "D day", especially if its a boat or sports car because the first day you have to ask for her permission to spend your money will be a bad day. The first time she says no will be so, so, so much worse.
