It's hard to improve on Perfection @OperationROL so the name fits perfectly. I chuckled at the Captain & First Mate designations as my wife and I discussed the same thing when we first got our boat. We finally agreed whoever got the highest test score on the boaters safety course final would be Captain the other would be First Mate. Well...We are each other's co-captains as we both got 100%. She still out ranks me in the house though.

Yeah, @OperationROL's Wife still outranks me in the house. In the boat, she enjoys being the First Mate and is a very good one. We have everything down to a pit crew like science.

Perfect Heaven III is a long ways away. In 3 years our oldest will be in college, 3 years after that our twins will be in college as well and 4 years after that our youngest will be in college. So, you see, we plan to be broke for a very long time. 11 straight years of paying college tuition. One of those years we will be paying for 3 at the same time and 3 of those years we will be paying for 2 at the same time. Perfect Heaven II will have to outlast that time.

As for the Captain and First Mate, we had them on our last boat as well, but I am sure the new owners, @YamahaForMe removed that first. On the last boat, we first made them in Black and strangely enough could not see it in most lighting conditions. We then changed to White and it is more visible. The last time we made them 1.25 inches and that is probably more appropriate. This time, I forgot and requested 2 inches. I feel they may be a little too large, but I will wait to see what I think in the spring before deciding if we need to reduce size. I am going to suggest you go with 1.5 inches.
