I'm not sure if I posted this in the right section but I got a good look at the Kymera Body Board at the SF Boat Show last weekend. Briefly stated, its a long wide body board with an integrated jet pump powered by a lithium polymer battery. According to the rep. They have 3,000 on back order and move into their production facility in April of this year. Top speed is about 18 mph, run time varies by user weight and use but is anywhere from 30 to 120 minutes. It weighs about 60 pounds. The one I saw looked like a small but thick surfboard. Here is a link to the company's page which contains a link to a you tube video on it. I almost forgot to mention, the boat show pre-order price was $2,750 each. Not for me but maybe someone else here will be interested.

The body board does not interest me but I think it would be interesting to see the same technology in a wake surf or full surf board.
